Wolfpack Wrestling Camps signs Brandon Slay
We are proud to announce that the 2008 instructional staff will be led by one of the most celebrated wrestlers in the history of amateur wrestling. Click here to view Brandon's bio.

What They are Saying:

“I wanted to take a minute and personally thank you and your staff for an outstanding wrestling camp.  If you remember, we brought our wrestlers from Boston to your camp after searching for months on where to attend – we were not disappointed?  Tyler (my son), Brian and DJ had a great time and filled their notebooks with lots of notes.  Tyler was especially excited to get his teams MVP.  And the dads were excited to go to the coach’s dinner.  Speaking for my own son, he had a sense of confidence coming back from your camp that he did not have when he arrived.  I can’t say enough about Carter, what a great coach and mentor – the kids are still talking about him!
 They think he’s great.”

Paul Laracy, Foxboro, Massachusetts

“Just a note to, once again thank you for the marvelous experience we had as South African wrestlers to attend your camp earlier this month.  Let me assure you that each and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the time we spent at the camp.  We were told before our visit that the quality of coaching at the camp is among the best available in the USA and we were definitely not disappointed.  The same goes for your excellent facilities at the campus.  We discussed in the beginning the objectives of our visit:

To expose our kids to the greater wrestling community.
To learn from the best.
To grow as persons
Please be assured of our highest appreciation and thanks.  It was a once in a lifetime experience for both myself and all our kids.”

Team Camp and Individual Technique Camp (July 6- July 10)

Our team and individual technique camp will provide instruction along with competition.  This session will accommodate schools that would like to bring their entire team and be involved in a team camp concept in which there will be team competition.  Wrestlers can also attend on an individual basis and be put on teams so they can experience team competition.  Unlike many team camps that devote all of their time to competition with little or no technique instruction, we devote approximately 50% to technique instruction and 50% to a competitive environment.  Participants will be involved in team dual meets and individual tournaments culminating in a camp team championship.  Instruction will cover all areas of wrestling with special technique instruction after observing campers in competition.
The featured instructor for the Team Camp will be Coaches in attendance will have an opportunity to discuss program development, practice schedules, and motivational techniques with highly successful scholastic coaches in a seminar type environment.  Campers will be exposed to the most successful scholastic techniques and the proper method and drills to learn these skills.

Features of our Team Concept Camp

  1. Our Team Camp continues to attract some of the best scholastic teams from across the nation.  Over the past several summers nationally ranked high schools such as Easton High of Easton, PA, Phillipsburg High of Phillipsburg, NJ and Absegami, NJ have attended.
  2.   Competition dual meets and individual tournaments culminate in a camp team champion.
  3. Teams will have an opportunity to compete with teams from across the country.  The 2005 camp had teams from 16 states.
  4. Quality instruction from a world class staff.
  5. Campers may attend on an individual basis and be placed on teams so all will have a competitive experience.
  6. Coaches will have an opportunity to discuss practice schedule, program development, and motivational techniques in a seminar setting with one of the nations’ most celebrated scholastic coaches.

Technique Camp (July 10 – July 14)

Emphasizing Leg Wrestling, Takedowns, and Pinning Techniques
The Technique camp will emphasize the teaching of leg wrestling, takedowns, and pinning techniques.  The objective of the session is to teach wrestling skills.  Although there will be competition among the participants during the technique camp, the main focus and emphasis will be on teaching skills.  Our objective is to make certain that each wrestler thoroughly understands all the technique presented and through repetition and intense drill, be able to execute each technique correctly.

Elementary Age Camper – Campers of all ages and experience are accepted to camp.  However, we are offering a special opportunity for the young (elementary school age) and novice wrestler at the 2nd camp session, (July 10 – July 14).  There will be special supervision and additional instructional assistants to create an optimal learning environment. A parent may also accompany their son or daughter for a fee of $200.00 which includes room and meals.
